A week or so ago I reported debris falling off a building onto the pavement but as yet nothing seems to have been done about it. This piece came off in front of me over the weekend.
The building is the old Fforchneol Arms, 196 Brynmair Rd. Cwmaman.

The Brazilian photographer Sebastião Salgado died today. He was 81. His images of the 1986 Serra Pelada gold rush, first published by the Sunday Times, remain some of greatest examples of the power of photography.

@GrantRintoul That Uhart looks a bit good. I'll have a look for that. I do like the 'cronicas' that were so popular at one time, I was always hoping that Roberto Arlt' s would get a translation. Brazilian Nelson Rodrigues Life As It Is was a great collection.
