"Securing a deal with the Prime Minister, BC and Ottawa will work together to reach a newly negotiated childcare funding agreement with a December 1st deadline. My family has benefited from a wonderful local childcare centre and I will keep fighting so that every family benefits from quality childcare across our province.

A couple of years ago, the childcare centre that one of our children was attending was designated as a $10/day site. When that occurred, we chose as a family to make a donation to that excellent facility. We felt that we did not need that discount and we wanted to make sure that the childcare centre could provide other supports for families in the community.

We will be making a similar donation to the childcare centre for our youngest child who attends the same facility."

@Averyflash We need to build infrastruction as quickly as possible so we can eliminate LNG as well, with solar and wind or perhaps something we don't have now. It take time and we need to start now, not fight about it. That has wasted decades.

@Averyflash I was totally against LNG but when I learned that there is NO other quick alternative to bunker fuel for tankers etc, I began to change my opinion. We need to stop fossil fuels but we can't do it quickly. The LNG becomes a bridge fuel, better than what we have but not perfect.

@CharlieKime1 This is absurd! The NDP cut child care fees in half. Eby's child was already in the daycare when the $10 a day started. I also understand he has been donating the difference in the $10 and the higher fees to other children.
