@englishcomp @ncte I’ve been mulling this question over recently I get the sense we are at a point where a drastic change is coming and I want to be prepared. Technology (and changes to society) has made such an impact on our field over the last year and I believe we cannot keep the status quo.

There should be a SafeSchools training on the dangers of staring at your computer screen for 3 1/2 hours doing SafeSchools trainings.

Because mental health is so critical for student performance, next year we are rolling out an additional set of standardized assessments that will evaluate students’ social emotional aptitude.

These assessments will provide invaluable data regarding stressors in students’ lives.
