Mix in a dash of writing, a chunk of travel, a slice of sport, a dose of Meningitis Research Support, a liking for puns and serve with a nice cuppa tea.
Royalties from my book have now raised over £1,500 for meningitis and septicaemia research @M_R_F . Hooray! So if you fancy a book that whisks you around the world, the funky introduction is here: https://t.co/HPXEkutSZ3 Goes well with wine, tea or a cheeky beer.
@Michell05551094@M_R_F Thank you Michelle. Great to hear you enjoyed the intro - the same dodgy humour runs through the book! With a bit of luck my book should be on this US Amazon link https://t.co/MGy0I8WysX

We visited Sissinghurst castle - beautiful grounds with a real writing history. It also scores an impressive 4 on the ‘s’ count - equalling Mississippi. #sissinghurst
How amazing are St Michael's Mount in Cornwall and Mont Saint Michel in Normandy, France? These sister islands are both tidal meaning you can walk right out to them at low tide.
Thank you @MeltonTimesNick for article about my travel book’s money raising exploits for meningitis research and the @M_R_F vaccine campaign. https://t.co/Eb98qI4xBq
Facing the past: Turkey's Gobekli Tepe and other ancient sites > https://t.co/YE7FJr31U9
South-east Turkey is home to some of the most important archaeological discoveries ever, such as the world's oldest temple.@DamienGabet explores this visitor-free region...

Does our garden have the only greenhouse/crazy golf course combination in the world? The filming of building the crazy golf den was so much fun with the BBC’s wonderfully friendly Dengineers. Big, one year on, thank you @joetracini @_merylfernandes @Satwinder_Samra @tonybroomhead
@_merylfernandes @joetracini@Satwinder_Samra @tonybroomhead We are all good. The red windmill still makes us chuckle. Although thought about powering the sails to make flour during lockdown. Hope you are all back making Dengineers soon. Big hug all around - Jeff, Bharathi & Jothi
I found this battalion of sunflowers on the edge of the Chiltern Hills. As this is Britain I am sure there must be a more spectacular field of rainflowers or cloudyflowers nearby.
Now that's what I call a car boot sale ....
I came across this chap on the edges of the Balero market in Palermo, Sicily.
He'd set up shop amongst buildings damaged during WW2 and never properly repaired.
The pink and black is for Palermo FC.

I went to Portmeirion in North Wales last week. Disappointingly there was no port to get merry on. However, it was a beautiful and idyllic place. In fact, it is almost worth a visit just for the fabulous ice cream.
