@DevinLewisNFL Truth. But Tua’s poor performance stems from his lack of mobility, weak arm, and frankly, traumatized nervous system. Willis’ escapability is such a welcome sight in Miami.
Much stronger arm, better pocket awareness, presence and instincts, his escapability is on another level compared to Moore, and when taking into account his lower body strength, fluidity, and easy movement, I like his athletic traits more at 6’4, 235 Lbs.
Reminds me a lot of Big Ben
@KingOfPhinland We could’ve walked away from tonight with Bain & Cooper Jr. Would’ve been a dream start to this next phase. Wild. Idk how I’m still a fan of this team, man.
WR1 and 4th overall on my board. More Cooper Kupp than ARSB.
Not to mention, Lemon’s impact vastly outweighs Delane’s, no? Not only does Willis have no weapons, but he’s also a 2 read QB- we need a WR who can consistently separate, make contested catches, get upfield & make 1 guy miss for additional yardage. Thats Lemon to a T.
Downs and Bain are the only 2 defensive centerpieces in this class- elite talents at every facet of their position, emotional leaders, and junkyard dawgs. Any other defensive player would be silly given our (rightful) investment in Willis and solid OL building blocks. Fano, Mauioga, Lemon, Bain or Downs. Period.
Idk what this vague “defensive centerpiece” label is that people are giving Arvell Reese.
Like how is Reese, a hybrid “edge” guy without more than a few quality edge wins a defensive centerpiece? Bc he runs 4.4 and can track down screens? (As hybrids, Abdul Carter & Micah Parsons had 2x the amount of clean edge wins on their tape)
You know who defensive centerpieces are? Demarcus Ware. Ray Lewis. Ed Reed. JJ Watt. Elite talents at their position, leaders, and junkyard dawgs.
The Only defensive centerpieces in this class are Rueben Bain and Caleb Downs. End of discussion.
