The first Pride was a riot — led by Trans people of color — against police violence.
Pride can not be separated from or celebrated without the fight for Black liberation. #BlackLivesMatter#PRIDE2020
For people of color. We cannot stop once the hashtag is no longer trending or the news no longer cares.
Continue to fight, continue to speak out, continue to donate, continue to build a community that supports and loves Black Lives
As we have been protesting in Arnold, we have encountered several people telling us to "go back to the city"
What they fail to realize is that we are from JeffCo, this place is our home. These comments are exactly why we must keep speaking out, keep protesting, keep raising
Awareness in Jefferson County. We MUST show the community that there are people in JeffCo who stand with the Black Lives Matter movement
We must listen to the voices of our Black neighbors, we must protect them and work to create a community that is accepting and SAFE
As uprisings unfold in #STL & across the country, so many people have been reaching out, supporting our work, & asking what you can do. We appreciate everyone who is joining the conversation and wanting to be part of the meaningful, systemic change that this moment demands.
