@juneslater17 As an independent retailer I totally get why they are doing it. 2 main reasons are firstly the banks charge shops for cash deposits and secondly even good note checkers can’t detect the latest fake £20 notes which we can never recover. (Last week alone they cost us £120) .

Mayflower house is similarly hoarded so you can see why we don’t share your optimism.

First we knew of it was when they started to block off visual access to the Armada Centre with hoarding while taking away our established (20+ years) rights of way over the fenced off land.
