Great feedback from our @plymcitycentre and @WestEndPlymouth businesses this morning 👇to all the positives in the city and the challenges we all face. Lots of info for us to take away and act on.
New plan for Armada Way, Plymouth (with modifications to come) Either they do it properly - or fail. Much better than the previous cluttered and obstacles design.
On the left - the Labour Party buying the front page of the Plymouth Herald for Thursdays local elections
On the right Luke Pollard decrying this practice when the Conservatives did it at the last general election.
People like consistency. People in Plymouth aren’t stupid.
If you run a business in @PlymCityCentre or the @WestEndPlymouth, please have your say this week on the £12.7m plans for Armada Way. It could make a huge difference to the future viability of the city centre: https://t.co/jEOoy5ojwi
Armada Way. It is essential to support this for a better retail area. The current cluttered landscape gives a poor impression. Please visit the Guildhall - this week to make an informed decision. Plymouth.
@Wibblywobble1@PressSteveH So a graffiti, deprived city centre is preferable? I think a lot of cities would be envious of this. It's an enormous improvement bringing more spaces for families to enjoy.
Message to all our @PlymCityCentre and @WestEndplymouth businesses and all @plymouthcc councillors. Surely, for the sake of the city centre, we need to press ahead with this 👇It will be a Park in the City for everyone.

@vegcornwall @WCountryVoices @plymouthcc@LukePollard@JohnnyMercerUK Very true. Their petition is about the trees only, which I can understand. My concern is there is a real risk to funding and many other aspects to consider for people to make their own minds up based on all info from both sides.
For anyone genuinely interested in the future of Plymouth City Centre, please read this: https://t.co/NBlMzHKidL It's so much more nuanced than the protestors would have you believe.
@LukePollard helping reduce crime and violence against women in Plym CC would be helped by the removal of the trees, specifically at the top end where it is very dark and hidden from CCTV!
