Their lives are in immediate danger — yet Starmer’s Labour government refuses to engage.

No, James. It's called "war". Hamas chose to start a war. Israel responded. 23,000 of the dead are Hamas fighters. The others were deliberately used as human shields by Hamas. The two million displaced were moved by Israel so they wouldn't be killed in the war.
There are far worse war zones right now. But people don't get X interactions tweeting about them.
