If you missed @jimmykimmel monologue last night, please watch. It was incredibly smart, funny, and also a stark reminder of the threat we all face.

(1/2) I'm excited to announce that Stephen Colbert, Host, Executive Producer, and Writer of @colbertlateshow will be honored with the 2025 @RFKHumanRights Ripple of Hope Award at our annual gala on December 9.
Humor can be a catalyst for change, and Stephen stands as a shining example of how speaking truth to power, boldly, wisely, and with heart, can ignite change and send ripples of hope far beyond the stage. Congratulations, Stephen!
Black people in America are not "making everything about race." We live in a nation that is erasing evidence of our history, celebrating a man who demeaned and maligned us, polluting our neighborhoods with toxins, ending lifesaving services to our communities, and suppressing our votes.
The United States of America has been consistently culpable in "making everything about race."
It's beyond time to end anti-Black racism.
Join in doing that.
The amount of happiness and warmth I feel when I think about 'Jeannie' is immeasurable.
Working with Larry, Hayden, Billy, Emmaline... it was a such a magical time. I never would have thought, that Jeannie would still be with me, always, right over my shoulder after all these years. Yet, she's still there! I wouldn't have it any other way!
I consider it a blessing to have played a role that so many have affection for. As an actor, you know there is always a chance that any role you play might 'stick' to you long after you've moved on. I am so fortunate that Jeannie was such a good character to be 'stuck' with. I really like her and I truly love how much she's meant to so many for such a long time.
Happy 60th Anniversary to 'I Dream of Jeannie!' I have a feeling she will continue on for many more years to come and THAT is a very good feeling! Love, Barbara Eden

Freedom is not about saying nice things or agreeing with those in power.
It is not flattering the President of the United States.
It is the right to express your point of view without government interference.
We must not allow anybody to take that freedom away from us.
They want to decide what books you can read, what history your children can learn, what medicines you’re allowed to take, what surgeries you can have, what gender you’re permitted to be, what sports you can play, which bathroom you can use, who you can love, and who you can marry. They want to own your library, your classroom, your hospital room, your bedroom—and now your television. They want to own the page, the pill, the joke, the chant, the kiss, the very pronoun in your mouth. And then, with breathtaking cynicism, they’ll look straight at you and say it’s the Democrats who are coming for your freedom. Small government? My fucking ass. This isn’t small government. This is government in your bloodstream, in your dictionary, in your bed, and now in your goddamn remote control.

We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was: a man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted Black Americans the right to vote was a “mistake,” who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi claimed that “some amazing patriot out there” should bail out his assailant, and accused Jews of controlling “not just the colleges – it’s the nonprofits, it’s the movies, it’s Hollywood, it’s all of it.”
His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans – far from “working tirelessly to promote unity” as asserted by the majority in this resolution.”
We can condemn his horrific assassination and the scourge of political violence without uplifting these ideas.
The suspension of @jimmykimmel and the promise to silence other Late Night hosts for criticizing the administration should disturb everyone on the Right, Left, and Center. It’s wrong and anyone with a conscience knows it’s wrong.
I’ve never been an outrageous person. Always tried to do the right thing and be caring, thoughtful and law abiding.
I’ve been a devoted daughter, loving sister, niece and granddaughter. I’ve even tried to be a devoted wife but that relationship takes two.
I’ve been blessed to be a mother and a grandmother and a successful business woman and artist!
I’ve loved my country, friends and many of the Christians and other religious people I’ve met along the way.
I’ve been concerned for over a decade now by the rampant lying and misinformation that has crept into our politics, religion and American society.
I don’t recognize Christianity anymore. What happened to us Christians?
I’ve spoken out about it a lot.
Somehow we’ve lost the plot, my fellow Americans.
It’s been made so obvious since the last election and the tragedy of last week.
How have American citizens bought into this false narrative.
This is not who we are and as a person of faith, honesty and fairness I refuse to accept the lies and constant propaganda that is being projected on half of our citizens.
Wake up people! Stop allowing yourselves to be abused and lied to.
The so called Conservatives and Christian Nationalists are attempting to demonize the rest of us and using the media to promote this lie. It’s a crime!
