@ask_aubry As far as I can tell, that post was just vocabulary vomit. I assume he (presumably) was trying to make a point, but it just comes across as jibberish to me.
@jenelaina@Dbwagner104 I’m tempted to try putting Goatlike and ewe-biquitous through the pun generator for the first and last of that trio. Just kidding, I, a ram-dom stranger, would never do sick a thing.
@stepville If he’s like mine, you’ll have festive piles in the yard for the next few days. From experience, I just recommend that any dehydrated items ( backpacking meals, refried beans, chilli or rice) be store as high up and out of reach as possible.
@JesseThorn Another reason I like being a vegetarian (not dissing carnivores and omnivores-it’s just not for me) is being able to choose a different main dish every year. This year it’s roasted herbed squash and portobello tart. Plus many of the traditional sides, plus pumpkin cheesecake.
@fromabovewithin@Voyageurfred@BackpackerMag IMHO, it’s less about brand, more about fit. Socks not so big/thick that they bunch or rub. Shoes also fit to your feet. Many brands are great, but not all are great for you. We’re all individuals, with different bodies.
@annehelen Same as other 3. Sore arm, and that’s it. Husband had no reaction to first 2 doses, but with both boosters, experienced sore arm and chills the following morning.
@mary_sonoma @ErikHoffner @chrislatray In broad terms, yours is a fair sentiment. But when was such mercy and sympathy shown to the scores of indigenous people (leaders, children, mothers, brothers, fathers, sisters, entire families and communities) since Europeans colonized this continent?
