Do you find yourself reacting emotionally and getting angry when your students are acting up? Sometimes it helps to pause and regain your perspective. We’ve all got a lot going on this year. Remember: It’s not about you—don’t take your students’ misbehavior personally. #edchat
@TechNinjaTodd So true! And remember to support those new to the campus teachers...they may not need as much help in the classroom but they are new to the team, the school, and need help also.
@EDUwithEMILY I agree❤️ if not for art, my daughter would not feel like she has a ‘place’ in school. She is not an athlete like her siblings and desperately needs these teachers to help her find her passion and develop her talents that are just as important and impressive.
If you're a principal and you agree that it's okay to relax the workload right now if Ss and parents are stressed, pls RT & share. People need to know that we understand. #WeGetIt We principals are living this situation too. Our families are home. Our friends are sick. #WeGetIt
After three weeks of school closures:
Admins are doing the best they can
Teachers are doing the best they can
Students are doing the best they can
Families are doing the best they can
I’m proud of them all! #bermpride
You might have brilliant lessons... but are you patient with students who need it explained a 2nd or 3rd time?
You might utilize all the latest technology... but do you work with the student who seems to have an attitude?
I think these answers matter.
Life is often like a pot of boiling water and you have a choice....
