I went early to the final @ArtBasel Conversation to say goodbye to @joeyldotcom@yatreda then head to the airport but ended up staying for the whole panel.
@mayaonthenet was so eloquent. @jackbutcher was witty and incisive as always. And Kiya was the grounding voice.
A beautiful way to end my week in Miami.
A few months ago, I visited Jeni Fulton’s class at the Zurich University of the Arts to speak about AI agents (e.g. Botto and Flynn) and NFTs. After visiting her class, I invited Jeni to visit mine: the @objktlabs Residency. She accepted, and tonight we’ll discuss art and value in the age of NFTs with Jeni Fulton, Head of Editorial at Art Basel.
✍️ The artists-in-residence have prepared a long list of questions for her. We’ll keep you posted on what we learn. 💭
On another note, the first exhibition by the first cohort of the objkt labs Residency is live. »Proof of Presence« was on view during @artontezos_: Berlin in an Internet café. More on that later 🔜 In the meantime, feel free to visit the exhibition on objkt and collect one of the remaining pieces from @Salawaki_3000, @fantasticplanet, @YuranYakon, @shojironakaoka, @m_blehaut, @danielwponto02, @Georg_Eckmayr, @Studio_De_Wilde, and @martnbruc.
one more thing...
I'm collaborating with @ArtBasel during this yearʼs Paris edition of the fair to present:
"Superpositions"
More information about this body of work and my overall practice can be found in the article 👇
Pretty excited about it :)

Understanding the art market starts ➡️ here.
Welcome to episode 1 of 'Decoding the Art Market', a joint production between Art Basel and UBS
We begin by defining what exactly the art market contains, from the traditional primary market of galleries all the way through to the new technologies reshaping how we collect.
Sometimes I wonder who’s responsible for my calendar. I guess that would be me. This week, I’m teaching at universities in Zurich, Weimar, and Vienna.
Jeni Fulton, Head of Editorial at Art Basel, invited me to speak to her class Art and Technology, part of the BA Fine Arts program at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). She asked me to talk about my work—curating and writing about contemporary art—and specifically about Botto by Mario Klingemann (@quasimondo). Of course, Flynn (@hi_flynn) and their research on feminist fatigue will also be discussed.
In Vienna, I’ll meet @KevinAbosch, who’s also there to teach at die Angewandte (University of Applied Arts Vienna). I wish I could sit in on his class—this semester, he’s teaching what he calls a very special course on »Weaponized Art: Algorithmic Tactics«. Curious to hear what Flynn takes away from it.
Also this week: we’ll announce the artist list for our booth at the Digital Art Mile. Objkt invited me to curate a booth—well, they also encouraged me to approach the booth as an exhibition. The title is: »We Emotional Cyborgs«.
There might be hints in this tweet about who some of the artists in that booth will be.
