@danjpye please check your article - Resident Rhona Barton said, "The pollution...", FOI request Cartmel Parish Councillor, Rowena Lewis, and more like 400+ discharges too? Thx https://t.co/XaQdCdNgfx
Scientists have found tiny plastic fibres in the air & we ARE breathing them in. The consequences for our health are not yet known, research is only just starting & will take time. But we can’t wait any longer before taking action on #plastic! More next week in ep3! #WarOnPlastic
Humanist mini-sermon: Treating others with dignity, respect and compassion is not only kind, it is the only logical way to behave. Confucius nailed the simple rule 2500 years ago: Never do to others what you would not like them to do to you.
@Team_Ackles@WWEDanielBryan Hi, fab you've found ecobricks! Just a note to say it's not a company but a most fabulous people movement that everyone can be part of. The most biosphere positive thing I've come across to help us all break our reliance on plastic forever. Find us on Facebook/ecobricksUK
@PeteJBadger Starting with a 2l bottle is a huge challenge to pack the min weight of 660g. On the training course we suggest 500ml or less so you can make mistakes and learn the tricks quicker and easier! See https://t.co/IyOELV4zX3 and Facebook/ecobricksUK for more info!
@BrigglyBear Looks a great start, make sure your super smiley moustachio spoon handle reaches to the bottom of your bottle, you need to get the soft plastic really firm in the bottom dimples. Push sideways or up, not down onto a hard surface as that will squish the dimples too!
@sustainellie Great #ecobrick notes, just check your line: 'so you cant see how', should be 'can'. Packing very important to get density, push sideways or up - pushing down squashes the lovely bottom dimples which comprises the brick long term. #dontdentthedimples
