Gabriel was very smart by headbutting Haaland and not accidentally removing his hair bobble in an aerial duel. By avoiding 'violent conduct' he receives a yellow card rather than a red and three-game suspension. Well done, good process.

Wild to think that even with footage like this readily available to them, @FA_PGMOL still issued a three game ban. Utter incompetence. Not only is it not violent, it’s unintentional, and lasts a split second. Disgraceful decision and a huge blow to our run in! #MUFC

Match Officials Mic’d Up is finally available & it fully demonstrates the hypocrisy in play between the Amad non-penalty & the Harry Maguire red card.

Same action, polar opposite decisions - both are upper-body/arm contact in the penalty area. Truffert’s is minimised as “just a hand on the shoulder.. not sufficient.. nothing significant.. goes down very easy.”

Maguire’s identical incident is maximised as “not challenging for the ball at all.. clearly reaches out.. holding offence.” This isn’t a “judgment call” grey area. The same officials applying laws like a roulette wheel.

Maguire’s called it a fucking joke.. & with this audio finally available, turns out he was bang on. Who’d have thought they would proved him right?

There will surely be a rule introduced next year that means this nonsense on corners, whereby everyone crowds around a goalkeeper, is removed (minimum distances etc.). It’s just ridiculous and a real drain on the supposedly ‘higher quality’ modern game.. #EVEMUN
