Rural County Supervisors respond to @SineKerr resigning from @GovernorHobbs Water Policy Council:
“This is a moment where Arizona needs leadership on water. Some choose to walk away. We choose to stay the course. We choose to have hard conversations and hash out real solutions.”
The idea that this justifies the Senate’s political circus makes absolutely no sense. This tragic incident occurred under the prior director, who Jake Hoffman personally advocated for and promised “a swift confirmation process” if nominated.
Today, we held the Ducey Administration accountable for illegally handing out a $50 million ESA grant. Instead, we're going to put that money to good use.
In my administration, we are committed to ESA accountability, protecting taxpayer dollars, and truly investing in public education.

Arizona students and teachers deserve better than serving as Republican culture war pawns.
They deserve legislators who serve them and put in the work to make sure our schools are properly funded.
I have named David Lujan as Director of the Department of Child Safety. He has led a career of defending and building up communities here in Arizona, and I am confident that he will head the Department of Child Safety in a positive direction.

I cannot do this job alone. I am grateful to hear from advocates and community leaders about how the government can better work for them.
It was great to meet with so many different groups that care about moving Arizona forward. #Hobbs100
I hope we can all agree that when we keep the most talented teachers in the classroom, our kids win, our families win, and our communities win. #HobbsSOTS#SOTS2023
In the 8 years @DougDucey served, I've never once heard reporters refer to him as "Doug." This morning on a news radio broadcast, I heard @GovernorHobbs referred to as "Katie" a few different times. I get it. It's Day 2, but put some respect on the Governors name.
Beyond excited for this opportunity! Grateful to all the incredible @ArizonaEA members for working with me over these years. It's been a true honor. ❤️
Pleased to announce the latest additions to the upcoming Hobbs Administration! Together we are building a government that is of, by, and for the people of Arizona and I can't wait to get to work.

Arizona is a better place because of @kathyhoffman_az's service.
