What barriers do you think prevented her from getting the help she needed? Seems like everyone around her was trying to help her. If she's not willing to tell people everything, there's nothing anyone else can do to help her. People in her situation have to speak up honestly about everything they're thinking and feeling for anyone to help them. She was her own barrier to getting the help she needed.

@kenmartin73 Harder for whom? Doesn't the USPS already use barcodes? Why is it such an issue to barcode the return envelopes to create a chain of custody for mail in ballots?

Dems still hold a slight advantage to prevent this from being implemented for the midterms because of the time constraints and the snail pace of the judicial system. Does any lay person have a rational argument as to why creating a chain of custody for mail in ballots is a bad idea?

@becka_thompson Also, we refine their westcoast sour Canadian crude which then travels thru the US to their east coast for their use. They don't have the refineries to do it themselves. This game of chicken is going no where.

The part that pisses me off the most is that these people are verified after they've cast a ballot. It's pointless to even verify them. The ballot is already intermingled with others. Even if it is set aside (which I've heard may or may not happen), it doesn't matter. Its still in a pile with other ballots. So if the person is determined to be ineligible to vote, there's no way of pulling their specific ballot from the batch. THAT disenfranchises every legal voter.
