Day 1 Practice:
Hand on your chest. Breathe in through your nose. Breathe out longer than you breathed in. That's the whole workout today. Feels like cheating. It isn't. On the exhale, a little lift down low. On the inhale, let it go. Easy option: no counting, any chair.
@Kekius_Sage Money management needs to be taught very early. I'm learning by trial and error - never being on my own or taught. Ridiculous at 48. Grateful for grok. Built a budget that helps.
As a momma w/ ASD kiddos, I know the pain and suffering that comes with that. What it's like growing up, etc. I absolutely adore the fact that he can and does break out and just be himself. It's in these rare moments you can see who he really is. It makes my 🩵 smile so much.
You have to move through life knowing you are somebody extraordinary, while also remembering that you are a nobody who knows nothing. The highest levels of consciousness can hold both truths simultaneously.
Elon Musk looked at aging and said, “That’s not fate, that’s a bug.”
His logic is an engineer’s. If aging were random wear and tear, your organs would break down at random times. Instead the whole body declines in sync, which to him suggests some kind of master clock running underneath. And if it’s code, code can be rewritten.
His proof that long life isn’t magic: bowhead whales live 200+ years, and Greenland sharks may reach several centuries.
Everyone else says “that’s just life.” He says “okay, where’s the source code?”
@KnightWorld That is a mutual decision, imo. It would matter what the other wanted as well. If not being abused, emotionally or physically, I would. Growth goes through stages, if you give up before giving it a chance, where does that leave you?
@Zyphullen@Kekius_Sage I have at least 2, likely all 3 for a total of 5 autistic people in my home. I understand the need for directness. Clarity is kindness, say the thing and see who shows up. 🩵
Day 7. Band row. Pull your elbows back like you're elbowing someone who cut the coffee line. Politely. Breathe out as you pull. My upper back after years of carrying kids needed this.
Easy option: sit on a chair, lighter band.
@Zyphullen@Kekius_Sage First, normal is overrated & imo, relative. Becoming has to be both, not one. & it has to hold both together. In whatever form can work. That is the way.
I agree with the utterly unhinged paragraph.
@Zyphullen@Kekius_Sage lol the growth occurs in communication, honesty, respect and trust. Goals that are similar. You act and treat one in love and kindness. And growth occurs.
If you cannot face accountability or recognize where or what is causing the pain, it won’t work
