Everyone’s bitching about being on unemployment but they’re getting $600 plus their reg amount a week. Us servers forced on payroll cuz of PPP grant are getting 75% of average from the slowest period. How is this fair??

It seems that everyone who’s affected by being forced onto payroll due to the ppp regulations are afraid to speak up. It’s absolute BS. ESP when they’re counting part of the 12 weeks from March 16, being open 1 day that week. Nothing I can do tho

We’d qualify for the family medical paid leave act which is only 2/3 of your average pay from 1st 12 weeks this year, slowest period.

In order for the ppp loan to turn into free money grant for small businesses, they must bring every employee back on payroll. It’s meant for the businesses but royally screws the employees in restaurants.

We have to come back although the dining room and bar are closed or be denied unemployment due to refusing “work”

@GHillFoundation I applied April 14th. Has said up until yesterday “in progress”. Last night it changed to “completed”. Now it says “no submission found!!” Guess I didn’t seem desperate enough, having 3 homebound teens to feed and getting paid @ 75% payroll from ppp loan

@onefairwage What about those servers forced off of unemployment and onto their employers payroll for the PPP,which they are basing the paycheck amount off of the 3 SLOWEST months of the year( Jan, feb, March)??!! I contacted you re: my app from March 17. I’m struggling

@Hollayy__xo @NRAEF Not sure. I went to the bank, didn’t use my banks app on my phone. But, other ppl tried going to the atm too and are having issues, so idk...I’m sorry..

@NRAEF The money is real!! The check just cleared!! Omg, I am deeply grateful for this. I just wish that others who received the check and it cleared would post. I had deposited the check into my banks atm, it scanned and accepted it on Saturday May 2nd when I received it in the mail

@m1chelemaitland @NRAEF @GuyFieri @GoodMorningTX @drpepper Right. I deposited it on Saturday through the atm so it counted as today’s deposit. However, when the atm scanned it it said it was accepted and I’ve the receipt w/image. So, the check should clear Tuesday.
