A huge well done to our Reading Ambassadors for organising a fantastic book and hot chocolate sale! Thanks to their hard workโand the help of other children who helped set up and run the eventโwe raised an amazing ยฃ180 towards our brand-new Book Swap Huts!
We were so pleased to be able to reward 44 of our KS2 children who achieved their target number of reads for Spring term. We had a lovely sunny morning playing in Farington Park. They played beautifully and showed excellent behaviour!ย

The Year 6 children performed their final pieces, which consisted of traditional moves from different styles of dance from 4 different continents. Over the last few weeks, the children had choreographed a dance that reflected Bhangra, Capoeira, Dinhe and Haka dance moves.
Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed the first session of Bikeability. Already, many of the children have learned new skills and they are all aware of the checks they need to make before riding to ensure they are safe and ready to do so. ๐ดโโ๏ธ๐ดโโ๏ธ
Year 6 really enjoyed finding out about the work of Pudsey and Children in Need. We also made kindness trees to celebrate Kindness Day. Doesn't their hair look great for our Crazy hair competition?!
In Year 6 Science, we have been looking at micro-organisms and investigating how to keep ourselves safe against harmful micro-organisms. Our investigation showed us that soap and hand sanitiser were equally effective in fighting against harmful bacteria.
Year 6 have really enjoyed their golf PE sessions this half term. We have taken part in a range of games, taking careful shots to see how many points each team can score. We ended yesterdays session with a game of Infinity Tag.
