I'm excited for my project because I think a lot of people enjoy music and music festivals, so it is perfect to pair artists will a snack. I'm a bit worried about the blog because I'm not very good with technology. #writingstudies51
For my group's final project I think our homepage will be colorful and have photos of a music festival. I think will will use a table of contents and divide the presentation time evenly. #writingstudies51
Since I wrote my research paper about food waste and climate change, I'd probably write my field guide on something that relates to environmentally friendly eating. #writingstudies51
My topic for my research paper is how food waste contributes to climate change. This is an article from the FDA that has been helpful. #writingstudies51 https://t.co/jO2Fe67CO3
For unit 3 I am thinking about doing research about food waste and how it is the third largest contributor to climate change, but since we talked about this in class, I might just focus on food and animal effects on the environment. #writingstudies51
Crouch used a citiation page which he named "More to Explore" which helps engage the audience becuse in MLA or APA it is unlikely that any reader would visit websites on the Works Cited page. #writingstudies51
#writingstudies51 For my review, I chose an article from The Atlantic which showcases three journalists' opinions about the the final episode of Game of Thrones. One writer states that he is content with the finale but the other two disagree. https://t.co/rkr76jKggG
#writingstudies51 Frere-Jones focuses solely on Van Halen throughout the years and its progression versus Carr focuses on women in music and how the rising amount of female artists led to a bigger movement for women in the music industry.
Traver's felt that the film "brings the dazzles but shortchanges the daring." He wanted there to be sparks were he felt they should be in the story. He thinks successful films should have properly acted dramatic scenes. #writingstudies51
After reading this section, I think I'll remember to make sure my insights are critical by explaining how my topic affected me instead of just explaining what I did. #writingstudies51
I chose a recipe called calamari ripieni because my family makes it every Christmas Eve. I am still thinking about ideas for my memoir. #writingstudies51
Out of the memoirs we've read, I think my favorite is Trudi Kanter's because even though it takes place during an extremely dangerous period for her in WWII, she writes and highlights the love of her life. WWII seems to be a secondary character in her story. #writingstudies51
When Eudora Welty writes "you" when she is referring to general situations that she found herself in as a child which were common for everyone else who used the Library. I believe she uses "you" to place the reader into the story. #writingstudies51
A memoir to me is like a daily journal that you turn into a piece of writing that others can understand. Memoirs let other people take a glimpse into your life and experiences. #writingstudies51

I wrote an article called The avant-garde: When culture and capitalism collide which discusses Emerson College professor Adam Spry's outlook on Native American art today. @ecjrn@beenasarwar#JR102#avantgarde#nativeart https://t.co/1Y0PfljbVC
Do you think about indigenous art when you hear the phrase "avant-garde?" My article, The avant-garde: When culture and capitalism collide, does. @ecjrn@beenasarwar#JR102#nativeart https://t.co/1Y0PfljbVC
