@NashSevereWx Our office sent around some stay warm suggestions: Pick 1 room as base, cover door/windows with blankets etc to preserve heat. And/or flatten boxes & line them with foil to reflect heat back into the room. Candles can help warm a space. Tents in room help too.
Hey #DOC, I'm writing an article abt Diabetes Coaching. Looking for those who have used one, to hear what they hoped for when beginning coaching and what happened. HMU via DM if you can talk before 4pm ET. T1 or T2, doesn't matter!

@Abby_Moschell I had gall bladder out last spring. The nurses prepping me kept wanting to take my pump off. Um, no. I had to explain that I would have no insulin left in my system after 3 hours if they did that. So they kept bumping the decision up the ladder. Anesthesiologist was cool w/it
@Lauren_Imbriano @LizCGil Some women students need to threaten to sue under Title IX. I mean, if you're having a nasty visit from Aunt Flo, you surely shouldn't need permission to address that. And does anyone want to know the specifics of IBD, pregnancy, overactive bladder, etc.? Yeesh. Moron.
@VictoriaFinkle If you're clerking or going to litigate in federal courts, it's a must. I used this class more than any other class from law school. My brain hurt all semester, but it was worth it!
Could your unhappiness in law be rooted in being a Highly Sensitive Person? Yes, it's a real psychological trait. Find out more! https://t.co/ozp2kDFUKQ
All Former Lawyers Are Bitter! or at least, that's what smug kinda-happy lawyers say.
I mean, it couldn't be that law fits some people really well, but not a whopping half of all attorneys . . . could it?

All Former Lawyers Are Bitter! How did I not know my entire career coaching practice was founded on the idiotic idea that leaving law would make some folks happy? https://t.co/30VqJHgy3G
@inspiredcat Thanks for alerting me to this future client! ;)
Though really, HOW do you decide to spend/borrow $200K because you don't like something else?
CRAP! Why Am I Still Here? You thought you'd be long gone from law by now, but here you are still. Don't give up; get some help from an accountability partner. A friend, relative, or a career coach can really help you focus on making that change. https://t.co/aGQ0U9Yo0t
Should You Go To Law School? Sure, but only if you actually want to practice law. That's not the same as simply having a law degree. https://t.co/SbRYGWvh34
Law Professors Should Have More Practical Experience https://t.co/CLgcCPwhK7
Cue the wailing and gnashing of teeth in the legal academy. How DARE students expect to be prepared to go out and practice law right after graduation? What are we, doctors or something?
@inspiredcat Wait, this isn't a joke?
I'm guessing the brain that thought up this idea weighs very, very little. Like, my cat's brain probably weighs more.
Unless the goal here is to body shame; then weighing students is a *fabulous* idea (to ensure they need therapy).
@EricWelchWCS@SchwinnTeach (Ha!)
1. Data-based rubric for in-school or online instruction for all LEAs. Input from MDs on that.
2. Mask mandate for all in school buildings.
3. Prohibition on contact sports, absent evidence of safety.
4. Relaxed attendance standards.
5. Cancel state testing now.
