@GeorgeWash53112@ReichlinMelnick@IlhanMN If you are pro-life, at what age does that expire? Adulthood? School age? How about age 1? In truly following the teachings and ways of Jesus, he would not endorse killing others for making different choices than you. Jesus loved all people, sharing all he had, without criteria.
@Valuable@elonmusk And that is fair, i wasn’t trying to soap box- I just wanted to emphasize the importance of not incentivizing in this way bcuz I have actually heard this idea before. It could be such an easy fix if we just did not penalize for coming in under budget.
@Valuable@elonmusk That is a dangerous incentive for department heads. Departments don’t want to spend the money, it is actually difficult to do. Just don’t penalize for a return of funds. That is enough incentive.
@qmgrJjm @FoxNews Why does everyone think the questions were given in advance? The questions were appropriate and predictable questions of a presidential candidate. They questioned policy, record etc. no surprises here. Not rocket science.
@rachbarnhart@rachbarnhart this is bigger than one family. We need to capitalize on available resources and think creatively. What is the plan to free up hotels and promote immigrant independence? Send National Guard home to their families? The NG is over deployed and needs recovery.
We were proud to join the Center of Prevention and the Hope Community, along with our fellow student-athletes at today’s Walk of Hope to bring awareness to mental health and suicide prevention. ❤️

@ZENmudProd@joncoopertweets Listen, I am not a fan of hers, but can we stop calling children illegitimate?! FFS, every human is ligitimate. A child has no say where or how they come into the world. Choose better words, think about the long game for that human.
BREAKING: Gun violence is actually worse in RED states and it’s not even close according to a new analysis.
Southern politicians, including Republican governors Ron DeSantis and Greg Abbott, have blamed crime in Democratic-run cities like New York for being out of control.
However, statistics show that New York City region has the lowest rates of gun violence in the US mainland, while the southern swath of the country has the highest rates.
Those living in rural areas of South Carolina are more likely to die from gunshot wounds than those in equally rural areas of New York.
The highest rates of deadly gun violence occur in regions where Republicans have long dominated state governments.
“The Deep South is the most deadly of the large regions at 15.6 per 100,000 residents followed by Greater Appalachia at 13.5. Yankeedom is the next safest at 8.6, which is about half that of Deep South,” writes journalist Colin Woodard.
Maybe it’s time we take common sense Gun laws seriously?
It’s time to win the debate. Let’s expand background checks and pass an assault weapons ban.
Let’s curb ghost guns, ban high-capacity magazines, fight gun trafficking, and lengthen the review window for existing background checks.
We know the problem.
It’s the guns.
@Vexant2 @PainfulTruth000@CathyJoeGPT@shannonrwatts Yes, not used by the military. It IS a weapon that lays down a MASS amount of ammo that is designed to shred the internal organs of the body. I am so tired of this semantics argument. The gun is meant to kill a lot of people fast. Let’s move beyond the language to the problem.
@joncoopertweets I have the same phobia. I once had a marine biologist tell me the ocean was the shark’s home and I received an invite so, I figure I am not welcomed!
🐘 The Nong Nooch Tropical Garden celebrated National Elephant Day with a feast of fruits for a large number of elephants. In 1998, the Thai government declared March 13 to annually be Thai National Elephant Day for the conservation of elephants
