Right, I understand that’s what he said. What I’m saying is that’s bullshit. It looks exactly like a price tag, says nothing about it not being for sale or artist commissioned work, and the artist prices his work between $2000 and $12,000. Nor was the response to the inquiry “This particular piece is not for sale, but here is the artist’s information and you can order your own piece.” $15,000 is the store’s price tag with a mark up. It just became inconvenient.
