Literally only one thing I wanted tonight: to watch the return of @colbertlateshow. But the @paramountplus app, which I’m paying for, only gives me access to a promo clip? Despite saying it live streams on Oct 2. Why is TV so hard.
@BCDreyer The interesting thing? They are both—the rooms are full of writers who now own their rooms and own their work and lives. Kudos to all, they did it.
@TheCinesthetic Can’t find the exact pic or proper gif, but there’s a moment in It’s A Wonderful Life when George realizes his brother isn’t going to take over his job, so he’s stuck in Bedford Falls. Stewart’s face goes from excitement & love to awareness & disappointment in one shot.
@kenklippenstein Ridiculous, particularly for dogs who apparently domesticated themselves. People need to calm down and cuddle a puppy. The whole world would be a better place.
@kenklippenstein “They work for the employer, not the other way around.” What a way to frame this relationship—that the one worked “for” has all the value. Rather than being part of a larger organism that rewards bosses & workers alike. Is respect REALLY this hard for these guys?
@TheatreofZen Wow. I thought for a hot second “my most anticipated film” meant you had created it and your career/livelihood was actually effected. So I was *almost* willing to understand this rancid take. But no. You’re just a selfish hobbyist? Maybe try, like, knitting. Always more yarn.
@amockingbird@intrivo@amazon Yes, I’d read that too. But I think it was 6 months or so. Definitely not a year and a half AFTER the expiration date. Maddening!
I ordered three On/Go covid tests from @intrivo. They arrived today: all three EXPIRED in March of…wait for it…2022. I recently ordered tests from @Amazon that were ALSO over a year expired. What the hell. Actively trying to kill us or just casually negligent? Both?
@CDCgov I ordered iHealth covid tests from @Amazon last week; they arrived over a year expired. Then ordered more tests directly from On/Go site (manufacturer @intrivo). They were expired too—from March 2022. I think this bears looking into, particularly as we head into a surge…
