We have pushed people to stop using Phone/Text as 2FA now we need to tighten up other methods such as @duosec push that allow for MFA fatigue. I still prefer non push methods such as TOTP & FIDO.

Yeah yeah, you can be hip and use "wip". But that one time you're tracking down a pesky bug and need more human context, that "wip" commit message isn't so cool. 🙃

Good commit messages communicate "why" a change was made, not "what" change was made. The code itself demonstrates "what", "how", "where", etc.

It's the commit message which relays the important human aspect of "why".

Here's a quick example:
