Here’s a tip for songwriters; Choose chords that portray the emotion of the song.
A song’s emotion could be happy, sad, exciting, frustrated, depressed, angry, etc.
You can’t be writing a song for celebration, for instance, and use sad chords. That just doesn’t fit..
