If AB govt wants to hold referendums, let's hold one on coal mines in the Rockies. Despite polling & public outcry, the govt doesn't seem to be getting the msg. Maybe this would clarify. #CoalReferendumAB Please RT.

In meetings with me about coal, AB govt ministers told me directly we should trust the regulating bodies and that we have the best regulations in the world.
Bullshit.
We want our water drinkable. Tell the foreign coal companies to pack up and go home.

The argument against: "these teachers are already some of the highest paid in the country!" brings me deep pride. I want to live in a place where teachers, nurses and social workers are the most revered jobs. If a community is healthy + nurtured, everything else will bloom.
