Do you ever feel like maybe you've taken a wrong road in your spiritual journey? I have. It's a scary place to be when you realize it. It takes daily work to stay strong and we've even recently been cautioned that now more than ever we need the guidance of the Spirit.
In my scripture study today I continued with the lives of Saul and David and I came upon a talk by Elder Ulisses Soares given in October 2020. He teaches us that fighting temptations takes a lifetime of diligence.
"Our ancient and modern prophets have constantly reminded us to resist temptation in order to avoid losing our spiritual traction and becoming confused, disoriented, and disillusioned in life."

In the gospel workshop I hosted about hearing God’s voice in an age of artificial intelligence, I invited viewers to take specific actions to deepen their relationships with God, self, others, and the natural world and environment around us.
In a world of accelerating technology and artificial intelligence, may we never lose the divine intelligence that matters most—the voice of God.

As you study the Savior’s life, the restoration of the priesthood, and the return of the sealing keys by Elijah that unite our families for eternity, you can know with certainty that the Savior fulfilled the Father’s plan.
Latter-day Saints’ view of the afterlife is rooted in Biblical truth.
Jesus Christ taught: “In my Father’s house are many mansions” (John 14:2)
Paul taught: “There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars” (1 Corinthians 15:41)
Life after death is much more than simply heaven or hell for all eternity.
In The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we know that “Heavenly Father loves all His children so much that He wants us all to live in a kingdom of glory forever.”
God’s prophet, President Dallin H. Oaks, explained this doctrine:
Children in my church—The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints—know this song, “I Will Walk With Jesus”
Pay attention to the words
If this isn’t emblematic of Christian faith, I don’t know what is
Oppose Evil
As a catholic, I'm allowed to ask the saints to say a prayer for me, and I believe President Gordon Hinckley was one. Brother Hinckley say a prayer for me.
101-year-old World War II veteran Don Graves — the last surviving flamethrower operator from his battalion, which fought on Iwo Jima — sings “God Bless America” at the National Memorial Day Parade.
God loves all His children. “That lesson can transform all of us to see each other as children of God who belong to each other,” taught President @OaksDallinH.

On this day 250 years ago, our forefathers gathered for a national day of fasting and prayer. Today, Americans will come together again as one Nation under God.
This is who we are and who we’ve always been.
Justice Clarence Thomas: “The Declaration is, in fact, along with the Gospels, one of the greatest antislavery documents in the history of Western civilization . . .
The ideas of the Declaration were so powerful that our nation could not coexist with the contradiction created by the great evil of slavery.
Those principles were so powerful that hundreds of thousands of Americans fought and died in the Civil War to make men free.
Those ideas have been so powerful that they convinced our nation to finally end segregation.”
This is from the monumental speech Justice Thomas delivered last month celebrating the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence at @UTAustin. Read and watch this speech.
