@arneduncan @ChicagoCred For far too long violence reduction has been looked at as overhead or a cost and addressing it in this way will always be ineffective at best. The more effective strategy is to see violence reduction as an investment in people & communities which will always yield greater returns

@arneduncan It seems like we often comment on the need to vote and the truth is we do. Just as freedom isn't free if we don't exercise our right 2vote we'll lose it. People wonder how the Nazi regime came2 powr. They got the blueprint from the U.S.A. Let's not make that mistake again. VOTE!!

@MichelleObama Michelle your mom had 2 biological children but I was Blessed 2have her in my life for nearly 50 yrs. The strength wisdom&grace she displayed throughout that time has impacted me& others I'm sure in ways too profound to say. She is resting but still watching all who loved her.

@AttorneyCrump There are absolutely NO WORDS for this! To endure the battles of war and be gunned down by law enforcement in a cowardly act of 'police privilege' is beyond anything. How long must we continue to suffer these indignities? We serve our country, bleed for it & get gunned down in it

Today, as with everyday, I carry the memory and legacy of my parents Marzet and Pete Rhodes who would have celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary today. The mpr group is a tribute to the impact they had and have on my life. R.I.G. Momma and Daddy. I LOVE YOU Always❤️🙏🏾❤️
