@ScientologyDad@StudyReligion That either were mentioned at all was the curiosity part for sure! It was a guidelines book for using HSA funds published by PayFlex.
For the @StudyReligion crowd - reading the docs on qualified medical expenses to find "Christian Science Practitioners" allowed and "Scientology Counseling" excluded. Those murky lines around religion and medicine strike again
Just planned a layover in Old Town Alexandria next weekend on our trip up to New Jersey since we have to wait for the moving truck.
We haven’t been back since we left in 2016 and I’m excited!
T- 4 days to house closing, school ending, and our escape.
@timnitGebru@samwightt A very late reply but end of semester has kept me from twitter lately. Happy to chat more! The goal of the course was to show how the categories of “religion” and “science” are not clear, obvious, or necessary. The language around AI is a great example of that. It invokes both.
Seeing students graduate and celebrating their accomplishment is always a highlight for me. Congrats to all the @StudyReligion grads this year. I am honored to have been part of your academic journey.
What DH folks try to tell their institutions when they get on the DH hype train: it isn’t hardware or software. It’s unsexy infrastructure. It’s investing in people w/ sustainable jobs that ensure institutional memory. And it must be rooted in what folks are already trying to do.
