@ClemsonFilm2024@olemiss902@noahjdl@SpiritCymbal@max_olson Ok, I'll play. The grant-in-aid paperwork (scholly) binds the school to the student, but not the student to the school. It's happend hundreds of times. It's what makes the Revshare and NIL contracts different. They have teeth the grant-in-aid forms don't.
@Goatizen13@recruits_cfb No he was an enrollee. He didn’t “sign” a binding RevShare or NIL contract. He “signed” a grant in aid offer (scholly) which binds the school to the kid but not the kid to the school.
@CockyAF_803@MattRyanStan@PeteThamel That's a terrible take. RevShare isn't structured the same as the wild west NIL/collective deals that had no teeth. Every single RevShare deal a player signs directly with a school is going to have similar protective clauses for the university. No exploitation here.
@MattMoscona That’s a shit take even for you. Nobody lets the CEO of a company sign a deal with a competitor and hang around to “finish out the year”. You cut off access to the building immediately. And don’t give me the whiny shit about “let him do it for the players.” F that.
@eazy1848@SpiritBen So what? None of us are in the media. This is a perfect example of why fangirls trying to pose as legit “media” members is just an absolute joke.
@Chamoooo54@OleMissRebel90@slmandel My guy, you’re talking about a booster collective made up predominantly of lawyers. You think we can’t figure that shit out? Lol. GTFOH. 🤣
@SSN_TexasState@WinterSportsLaw I think the better way to frame this is pro v. amateur. The old amateurism/olympic model we adopted from Europe for our collegiate programs is simply dead when it comes to revenue generating sports. Never coming back.
These @OU_Football defenders celebrate a run of the mill tackle for a 3 yard gain like they strip sacked the QB and score a TD. So much self congratulations on one squad.
@RoyMay15@TexAgs Main reason being the heat and while it is hot elsewhere in the SEC, they way fans tailgate before LSU games the drunkenness is on another level. Reference back to a mid day kickoff against UCLA last year and the amount of fans taken by EMS due to heat stroke
@NobelPrize This is an outrage. Donald Trump stopped all wars that were going when he took office and brought Ukraine into NATO
We are the oldest and greatest country on earth. You need to act like it or pay the price
@LetJSNCook@jacktronprime This is the problem with monetized engagement. It causes people like you (whoever you are) to say the most outrageous shit imaginable even if you don’t believe it. Newsflash: whether you believe it or not, saying it validates you are a vile human.
