But the master strategies didn't take this pre- requisite steps after removing the subsidy. As long as there will be no steps to tackle hardship and transport hike. Then subsidy removal have no impact
President Tinubu’s policies are bold, necessary and, in my view, moving Nigeria in the right direction. The removal of fuel subsidy was a difficult but important decision. The wealthy do not need fuel subsidies; support should be targeted at Nigerians who need it most.
I would love to see the Federal Government working with state governors to expand heavily subsidized public transportation across the country. Those who can afford to fuel their private cars can do so, while those who cannot should have access to affordable and reliable transportation to work, school and their businesses.
The same principle should apply to healthcare and other essential services. The savings from fuel subsidy removal should continue to be channelled towards improving the lives of ordinary Nigerians, particularly the less privileged.
That is how we can turn necessary reforms into shared prosperity and build a stronger Nigeria for everyone. 🇳🇬
President Tinubu's popularity is dwindling rapidly. He has never been popular nationwide, though. He won the 2023 election largely because the opposition failed to unite. Still, more and more people have been publicly rejecting him lately. I am not surprised.
I am not surprised, for reasons too obvious to merit mention here. You cannot live in Nigeria or follow the country's news and fail to know why people want Tinubu defeated in the 2027 presidential election.
Instead, I am surprised to see people outside this government supporting Tinubu. Those in power have a clear reason to campaign for him: to protect their appointments (read: their bread and butter).
I want to know why anyone who does not directly benefit from this government would honestly want Tinubu to win. What do you want him to continue doing? What has he accomplished that convinces you to vote for him? Please help me with answers.
May the best candidates win in the next elections, amin.

Unemployment hits differently when you’re a man. Family treats you differently. People lose respect for you. Nobody cares about you and what you say. Family is only nice when you have something to offer. Get up every day and fix your life. The world is very cruel to a poor man.
@Waspapping_ This government logic: create the hardship, then distribute covid-19 palliatives and call themselves the saviour and lover of the masses. God punish all of you
Seyi Tinubu showed up big time in Kaduna, supporting struggling families with food supplies so they can break their fast during Ramadan and Lent without stress.
For many who can’t even afford daily meals, this relief came at the perfect time.
We both left home at 18.
You cleared JAMB
I got recommended.
You got UNIVERSITY,
I got NDA.
You pursued your degree,
I had the toughest training.
Your day started at 7 and ended at 5,
Mine started at 4 till 9 and
Some nights also included.
You had your convocation ceremony,
I had my POP.
Best company took you and
Best package was awarded,
I was ordered to join my platoon
With 2 stars piped on my shoulders.
You got a job,
I got a way of life.
Every eve you got to see your family,
I just wished i got to see my parents soon.
You celebrated festivals with lights and music,
I celebrated with my comrade in bunkers.
We both married,
Your wife got to see you everyday,
My wife just wished i was alive.
You were sent to business trips,
I was sent on line of control.
We both returned,
Both wives couldn't control their tears, but
You wiped her but,
I couldn't.
You hugged her but,
I couldn't.
Because I was lying in the coffin,
With medals on my chest and,
Coffin wrapped with tricolour.
My way of life ended,
Yours continued.
We both left home at 18.
I dedicate this to every soldier and uniform person out there, we don't understand what you do and the sacrifices you make, but know that we are eternally grateful!
His Eminence is currently abroad, and an official announcement has now been made by the Shehu of Borno, who is the deputy president general of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
