@RyanJones It seems like a lot of SEOs don’t realize how widespread the site rep tactic is or how many verticals it impacts. Lots of subdirectories on big sites are still at risk of being de-indexed. Depends on where G draws the line.
@willcritchlow@lilyraynyc True and no law degree here either. Pharma companies will only be judged on what they can reasonably control. (Although, pharma companies have often avoided social for fear of being held responsible for user comments.) This would probably have to be a US FDA vs. Google showdown.
@willcritchlow@lilyraynyc I'm not even trying to complain about title tag changes here, but every SEO/PPC person who's done pharma knows the pain of sitting in rooms for hours revising title tags and descriptions to appease a client's legal team.
@willcritchlow@lilyraynyc I wouldn't put it past the US FDA to come after any company that isn't balancing the benefits and risks of a drug in every possible context. A drug site can make all sorts of claims on-page, b/c of ISI presence. If G pulls that out of context, it's unbalanced.
@willcritchlow@lilyraynyc Most US-based pharma co's have totally different legal standards for text that's on-page, because it is always accompanied by Important Safety Information. FDA has strict standards on this and have hit companies in the past for making "claims" without ISI present on-page.

@MyNameIsTylor@dmorey Doc and Daryl now. I like what the Sixers are doing trying to solve the puzzle and get to the Finals. Now they need some roster adjustments.
@MyNameIsTylor He's a guy who would help to his team so much more if he's willing to take a back seat offensively on days when he's just not shooting well.
