Look at any film of the Bulls v Pistons, You will see each team had the ability to fun a free flowing offense against good defense. You say athleticism, offensive basketball as it should be seen. New York and San Antonio have the athletes to do it. The league prefers strength.

And don't give me that it was more physical in the "old days" it wasn't. Yes, more fights, more hard fouls, more the flow of the game was not stopped by bear hugging off ball players, illegal screens ,defending the post like sumo wrestlers, with nothing called.

NBA finals are unwatchable. The fomula for winning, as everybody so quickly judges, is the team that is more physical and more aggressive will win. This montra would be fine if that physicality and aggression was done within some semblance of the rules of basketball...

Never liked much of any New York sports teams, but the Knicks have won me over. A true team, not manufactured, just built with the right chemistry, no egos. A testiment to how they have been raised, and coached. Every kid should look at Jalen B. to see what leadership really is

@PSBhoops what a great career what a great competitor. Came out of Bethel Park with the reputation as a great shooter and he was, but he became so much more. Best player in the league by far and a great sportsman. So happy for him. He was just so good.

Sports superstitions: I'm in the bathroom Rory makes his first birdie. I am relegated by my family to go into the bathroom on every birdie putt thereafter. It worked!!! I'm planning on implementing it on free throws for us this coming year.

@mtaylor_mike I love Coach, but his continuing belief that not switching must be some sign of weakness is killing them. Two dunks on a BLOB that a 3rd grade team would know we better switch. Uncontested mid range when defenders don't get over the screens. Frustrating watching it.
