@muckraker1975@jane98405259@HunterBiden Oh Muck, you sweet sweet summer child, lol. Govt has to “somehow convince” businesses to lower costs and raise wages? Like, by asking nicely? 😂😂
Then why did your boss commute the 20 year prison sentence of Philip Esformes, the Florida health care executive convicted of a $1.3 billion Medicare and Medicaid fraud scheme, after just 14 months served?
Why had he pardoned more than 70 fraudsters?
Khanna: “There needs to be accountability for Elon Musk…They don’t talk about the 4.5 million children around the world who he possibly sentenced to death by dismantling USAID.”
Elon Musk, a self-proclaimed free speech enthusiast, is threatening to sue over this.
Here is the Lancet study forecasting more than 4.5 million deaths in children under the age of 5 by 2030 due to Elon’s USAID cuts: https://t.co/LBVWAOXRcT
Jared Golden isn't even running for reelection.
Even in their dying breaths, corporate shills & war hawks will sacrifice our livelihoods for their for-profit agenda.
Kick them all out.
No great surprise. Netanyahu talked Trump into the disastrous war in Iran.
We cannot allow Israel to continue shaping U.S. military and foreign policy.
Next week I will be offering a resolution to stop U.S. military aid to Israel.
If the ceasefire holds (big if), the fairest way to “score” the war in Iran:
- clear operational successes. Large number of IRGC killed, Iranian Navy largely destroyed, etc.
- a massive tactical failure. Iran learned they can bully the Gulf States with impunity. They learned that, absent a ground invasion and a weeks-long naval mine-clearing operation, we can’t do anything to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
They can close it again any time they want and send the world into an economic tailspin.
Iran (so far) retains all of their uranium, and intelligence estimates put their missile stocks in the thousands. They can still launch attacks on the region at a time of their choosing, and they’ve learned they can largely outlast a massive US/Israeli bombing campaign.
TL;DR: we killed a bunch of people and blew up a bunch of stuff, all to end up in a worse position than we were in with Obama’s nuclear deal.
This statement changes nothing.
The President has threatened a genocide against the Iranian people, and is continuing to leverage that threat.
He has launched a massive war of enormous risk and of catastrophic consequence without reason, rationale, nor Congressional authorization - which is as clear a violation of the Constitution as any. Each day this goes on, the risk and criminality of these actions escalate for our nation and the world.
Moreover, this administration’s self enrichment, insider trading, and pure corruption off this chaos - from crypto currencies to predictive trading markets to bribe “settlements” - has placed the Trump administration’s pursuit of personal wealth squarely against the wellbeing of our nation and its people.
All of these incidents, and plenty more, have clearly driven our country past the threshold for impeachment or invocation of the 25th amendment.
We cannot risk the world nor the wellbeing of our nation any longer. None of these considerations should be partisan, but shared in good faith by Americans of all backgrounds who care for the safety and stability of the United States.
Whether by his Cabinet or Congress, the President must be removed from office. We are playing with the brink.
One month after starting the war in Iran, this is the statement of the President of the United States on Easter Sunday.
These are the ravings of a dangerous and mentally unbalanced individual. Congress has got to act NOW. End this war.
The country simply doesn’t function anymore. This is Republican rule, economic crashes, tax cuts for the rich, cuts to services, new wars in the Middle East. Every. Single. Time.
We’re told there’s no money for universal healthcare or to end hunger in this country. But somehow $200 billion more for war will likely move through Congress without question.
Not another penny for another endless war.
