1918: they sold radioactive water as a health tonic. It was radium, and it dissolved men's jaws.
1898: they sold heroin as a children's cough syrup. It was heroin.
1863: they sold cocaine wine as a daily pick-me-up. Popes and presidents put their names to it.
1946: they sold cigarettes on a doctor's recommendation. Whole campaigns ran on which brand physicians preferred.
1960s: they sold margarine as the heart-healthy fat. It was loaded with the trans fat that actually stops hearts.
Every one of these came with an expert's blessing and total confidence.
The people telling you today which fat to fear are the institutional descendants of the ones who put radium in your water and a doctor's face on a cigarette packet.
"The experts recommend it" has a body count going back a century.
The Blue Zones are the great proof that plant-based eating gets you to 100. Here is the brochure against the receipts.
As sold:
- Mostly plant-based, meat only rarely
- The longevity secret, decoded
- Five magical regions
- Buy the book, the cookbook, the branded groceries
What the data actually shows:
- Okinawa eats the fewest vegetables in all of Japan, and among the most meat, with the highest BMI
- The 'plant-based' Blue Zone plates include pork, fish, cheese, eggs and lamb
- Loma Linda got added because an editor told the author to 'find America's Blue Zone'
- Greece, 2012: 72% of pension-claiming centenarians were already dead
- Japan, 2010: 230,000 'centenarians' turned out to be missing, imagined, or long deceased
- The longevity tracks poverty, missing birth certificates and pension fraud, not diet
In 2024 a researcher won an Ig Nobel Prize for showing the whole edifice rests on bad paperwork and dead people drawing pensions.
The secret to reaching 110, it turns out, is losing your birth certificate.
The plant-based longevity paradise is a gift shop built on a clerical error.
Look at what you are actually made of, then look at what they told you to fear.
Your brain is roughly sixty percent fat, and the fat they warned you off is the fat it is built from.
Your testosterone, your oestrogen, your cortisol, your vitamin D, all of them are made out of the cholesterol they spent fifty years telling you to lower.
The calcium in your bones is steered into place by vitamin K2, which you get from animal fat and hard cheese and almost nowhere else.
Your eyes need retinol to see in dim light, and only animal food carries it ready to use.
Your nerves and your blood need B12, which no plant on earth can give you in a form you can use.
Every load-bearing part of a human being is built and maintained by the exact foods the guidelines put in the naughty corner.
You are, quite literally, an animal assembled out of other animals.
Then a committee told you to eat cereal instead. Have a think about how that was ever going to end.
The "8-12 reps for hypertrophy" rule exists because enhanced bodybuilders grow from anything.
Before the steroid era, everyone trained heavy. Four to six reps, compound lifts, progressive overload. It worked.
Then steroids arrived, and the rules quietly broke.
Suddenly bodybuilders could do 20-set arm sessions, drop sets stacked on supersets, and still grow, because the drugs were doing the building. Naturally, they credited the training. They thanked the volume and the pump.
They were wrong. They were growing from the testosterone, the trenbolone, and the dianabol. The workout was a costume.
But naturals watched them, copied them, and have spent decades running enhanced protocols and wondering why nothing happens.
Here is what nobody told you. Enhanced lifters grow independent of training. The drugs build muscle whether the session was smart or idiotic.
You do not have that luxury. A natural needs every advantage the body will give: heavy weight, low reps, maximum tension, minimal fatigue.
The 8-12 range isn't wrong. It is just suboptimal, for natural and enhanced alike.
Stop copying drug users. Their rules were never written for you.
Sugar isn't the great villain it's made out to be. In the right context your body handles it fine, burns through it, and moves on. Eat it, spike, crash, and by teatime it's gone.
Seed oils are patient. They move in and stay. Built into the walls of your cells, folded into your fat, sitting in tissue that barely turns over for years.
A bad week of sugar costs you a bad week. A bad week of seed oils could still be lodged in your cells, quietly doing damage, in 2030.
Sugar is a hangover. Seed oils are a mortgage.
The label reading evolution:
Week 1: "I'll cut sunflower oil from the cupboard. Done."
Week 2: "Why is rapeseed oil in the bread."
Week 3: "Why is sunflower oil in the hummus."
Week 4: "Why is canola oil in the pesto."
Week 6: "The shop is now taking ninety minutes."
Week 8: "There's seed oil in the tinned tomatoes."
Week 10: "The 'olive oil mayonnaise' is 96% rapeseed."
Week 14: "Asking waiters what they fry the chips in. Nobody knows."
Week 18: "Bringing a small bottle of tallow to dinner parties."
Week 22: "Rendering my own dripping on a Sunday."
Week 26: "Pricing up half a cow and a chest freezer."
Week 30: "Considering whether the garden could support a heifer."
Week 36: "Naming the heifer."
The descent into paranoia is just pattern recognition arriving in real time.
๐ป SUNSCREEN ENTERS YOUR BLOODSTREAM IN UNDER 24 HOURS. THE FDA CONFIRMED THIS IN 2019. THEY DID NOT PULL A SINGLE PRODUCT. THEY TOLD YOU TO KEEP APPLYING.
In January 2020, a randomized clinical trial published in JAMA found that six active sunscreen chemicals โ including oxybenzone and avobenzone โ absorb into the bloodstream after a single application. Not after years. After one use. At concentrations exceeding the FDA's own safety threshold by 180x to 500x.
The FDA did not recall them. They issued a statement: "Continue to use sunscreen."
Oxybenzone is a confirmed endocrine disruptor. It mimics estrogen. It crosses the placental barrier. It has been found in 97% of Americans tested. It is in breast milk. It is in amniotic fluid. It is in your children before they are born.
A former formulation chemist โ 11 years at a top-3 sunscreen manufacturer:
"We had internal absorption data by 2014. Full transdermal penetration within 26 minutes of application. The compounds don't sit on the skin. They were never designed to. The delivery mechanism is identical to a pharmaceutical patch. We knew this. The mitigation strategy was never reformulation โ it was public messaging. Keep the consumer applying. The margins on chemical sunscreens are 1,400% above production cost. Mineral alternatives cost 4x more to produce. The decision was financial. Every internal document confirmed that."
They told you the sun causes cancer. What they didn't tell you:
Vitamin D โ produced only through direct sun exposure โ is the single most critical regulator of immune surveillance against malignant cells. A 2023 meta-analysis confirmed: Vitamin D deficiency correlates with a 30-60% increased risk of colorectal, breast, and prostate cancers.
They blocked the one thing your immune system needs to fight cancer. Then sold you a chemical that enters your blood and mimics hormones. Melanoma rates have increased 320% since 1975 โ the exact period sunscreen use became widespread.
The paradox is published. McGill University, 2023: "Sunscreen usage is climbing, but so are melanoma and skin cancer rates."
They didn't protect you from cancer. They removed your defense against it and charged you $14 a bottle.
15 minutes of direct sun daily. No screen. Arms and face exposed. Your body produces 10,000-20,000 IU of Vitamin D in that window โ the amount they sell you in pills because they blocked the free version.

They made you afraid of the sun so they could sell you a hormone disruptor and call it protection. The sun is free. That's why they taught you to fear it. Share this.
The reasons I get up before 5am:
- Cortisol peaks, ride the wave
- Front-load the hard work
- The sharpest focus of the day
- Morning sunlight on the retina
- Testosterone is highest at dawn
- Win the morning, win the day
The actual reason:
- I do not want to speak to anyone
Those first few hours belong to nobody but me, and there is no version of paradise that improves on that.
When Jesus said, โI am the Good Shepherd,โ He was saying far more than most of us realize.
A shepherd wasnโt just someone who owned sheep. He lived with them, led them, protected them, and knew them individually. The sheep depended on the shepherd for everything.
Thatโs why this picture is so powerful.
Jesus didnโt say, โI am a good teacherโ or โI am a good example.โ He said, โI am the Good Shepherd.โ
A teacher can give advice and leave. A shepherd stays.
One of the most comforting parts of John 10 is where Jesus says that He knows His sheep. Think about that for a moment. He knows your strengths, your weaknesses, your fears, your struggles, and every mistake youโve ever made, yet He still calls you His own.
The Good Shepherd doesnโt abandon His sheep when danger comes. He protects them.
And unlike every other shepherd, Jesus proved His love by laying down His life for the sheep.
The cross wasnโt an accident. It was the Shepherd willingly giving His life so the sheep could live.
The amazing thing is that sheep have a tendency to wander. We do too. Yet Jesus is still the Shepherd who goes after the lost, calls them by name, and brings them back.
The message of the Good Shepherd isnโt that weโre strong enough to find our own way.
Itโs that we have a Shepherd who is faithful enough to lead us home.
Alcohol and tobacco are available on every street corner.
Cigarettes proven to cause cancer. Alcohol proven to destroy the liver, the brain, the marriage, and the careful plans of an entire weekend.
Both legal. Both taxed. Both stocked at the petrol station.
Raw milk, on the other hand, sold by a farmer three miles down the road from a cow that has a name, must apparently be regulated as a public health threat.
The petrol station sells nicotine pouches, vodka, energy drinks containing seven grams of taurine and a kilogram of sugar, and an entire wall of ultra-processed snacks designed by chemists.
The farm gate down the lane sells a glass of milk. The same milk humans have been drinking for ten thousand years.
The petrol station is fine. The farm gate is the problem.
You can decide which of these your government is actually trying to protect you from.
BREAKING: Scientists have discovered a food that meets every essential human nutrient requirement.
Complete protein with all nine essential amino acids in optimal ratios. Active vitamins A, D, E, and K2. Haem iron at 25% absorption. Zinc, B12, creatine, carnitine, CoQ10, choline, selenium, taurine.
No antinutrients. No lectins, oxalates, phytates, or saponins. No defensive plant chemistry to soak out, sprout, ferment, or boil into submission.
Requires no processing, no fortification, no chemical treatment, no marketing department. Apply heat. Eat.
No postprandial inflammation. No blood sugar spike. Exceptional satiety. The kind that means you skip lunch without noticing.
Available for 2.5 million years. Eaten by every traditional culture from the Inuit to the Maasai to the Welsh hill farmer.
It is red meat.
The scientists did not actually discover this. It was just there the entire time. On the hill. In every kitchen that ever fed a working population through a winter.
We were told to limit it. We did. The population got sicker. The guidelines stayed.
The cow has been waiting. The cow is still waiting.
Help me understand why you wouldn't just do this first thing on Tuesday, and then you've got six months to apply pressure as a member of Congress after you've done so? Why wait? Why even wait this long?
