I like the simple "Police Accountability". Define it as encompassing a 360° review and restructure of police departments nationwide.

Some breaking news this morning that’s not getting the coverage it deserves: We caught Tillis on camera and got him to agree to meet with the Epstein survivors ahead of a vote on Todd Blanche. They sat in his office for 45 minutes before his staff told them he wasn’t coming.

This is the unidentified staffer from Senator Mitch McConnell’s office who was frequently seen wheeling the Senator to the Senate floor for votes. During some past roll call votes in which the Senator was present, the votes themselves occurred off camera.

If an elderly senator were ever mentally incapacitated or otherwise unable to make an independent voting decision, my concern is that a staffer could potentially influence or instruct that senator on how to vote. That possibility raises important questions about transparency and safeguards surrounding the voting process.

My son works full time here in Florida. Let me run his numbers.

State minimum wage is $14/hour. He's at $15.

40 hours a week = $600/week
That's about $2,600/month before taxes.

Florida has no state income tax the thing they sell you on. So after federal and FICA he takes home roughly $2,200.

Average one-bedroom in our area runs about $1,600.

That's 73% of his entire paycheck gone to rent before he eats a single meal.

Leaves him around $600 a month for:

- groceries
- gas
- car insurance
- health insurance
- phone
- emergencies
- savings

Car insurance alone eats a third of that in this state.

He works 40 hours a week and cannot save a dollar. Not because he's careless because there's nothing left to be careless with.

I spent thirty years paying off a house here. He's doing the same job I did at his age and he can't afford a one-bedroom.

That's not a discipline problem. That's not avocado toast.

The floor moved and nobody lowered the ceiling.

Working full time should cover a roof. In Florida it barely covers the rent on one.

This is what “swimming while Black” looks like in 2026 — an ordinary pool day with your children turned into a police encounter because a neighbor decides you don’t belong. According to the father, a white neighbor called the police on him and his sons because they were the only Black family at the pool. He says he had already shown proof that he stays there, yet she still demanded his ID. He further states that when officers arrived, they told her he did not have to show her anything — but by then one of his boys was in tears. He says the incident traumatized his children and that he may pursue legal action.
