Hi, I’m Jesphem
I’m building my freelance career as a virtual assistant in public.
On this page, I share:
Client tips
Freelancing lessons
Virtual assistant skills
Online income strategies
If you want to start working online and grow step by step, follow along 🚀
A quick one
Go to https://t.co/cE5j0tlimD, then enter your skills (be as specific as possible), and filter your search to “worldwide”
https://t.co/1uzJArcvp3 will show you companies that are hiring globally, Iseyin or Ikire
Now, don’t apply on https://t.co/cE5j0tlimD (although some jobs required you to apply directly) but a more effective method is to look up the companies on LinkedIn and connect with their decision makers
- download Apollo extension and add it to your chrome. It’s free if you create an account with a domain name
- a close alternative is contactout
These two extensions will extract the contact details of the decision makers and you can sell your services to them
The above and other proven ways are summarized here https://t.co/oW41JdaAR4
@Mdee_M04@omoalhajaabiola You don't need a technical background to start—just consistency and a willingness to learn. SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python are great skills to begin with.

Someone just referred me for a remote job in Canada. People ask me, "How are you getting these international remote opportunities?"
My answer is simple.
Take your social media seriously.
Most people are just starting their journey. You don't have money for Connects, and you don't want to waste the little you have. You're not at the stage where you can comfortably spend hundreds of thousands on Connects.
So here's what you should do.
Avoid distractions. If you need to deactivate some of your other social media accounts, do it. You might think they're not distracting you, but you'll be surprised how much time and attention they steal.
Focus on whatever is going to make you money.
One thing I've learned is that increasing the number of people you talk to increases the number of opportunities you get.
Even on my burner account, I still network. I still introduce myself. I still meet new people. I still try to come out of my shell.
This is something every beginner should be doing.
Every day, challenge yourself to start conversations with at least 10 people.
You won't keep up with everyone, and not everyone will reply. That's normal.
But eventually, someone will check out your profile, remember your name, or think of you when an opportunity comes up.
That's how referrals start.
This simple habit changed the game for me.
At the same time, be patient. If you know you don't have money for premium tools or paid shortcuts, then your advantage is consistency and networking.
Keep showing up.
Keep talking to people.
Keep building relationships.
You never know who will open the next door for you.
@TechnicalBben This is a mindset many beginners overlook. Skills open the door, but consistency and meaningful relationships often determine how many opportunities come your way.
This course will teach you how to build chatbots that clients are willing to pay $5000 without coding.

Repost on your timeline, someone might need it for their life to change in 2026!!!!

How to scale as a Virtual Assistant (simple guide)
Most VAs stay stuck earning low because they don’t understand one thing:
You don’t get paid for “helping.”
You get paid for solving problems.
Start small, but start smart
Don’t try to do everything.
Start with:
Data entry
Web research
Simple admin tasks
Then grow.
Add skills that make you more money
Once you understand the basics, learn:
Lead generation
List building (emails + LinkedIn)
CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce)
Data cleaning and formatting
This is where the money is.
Apply for better jobs
Stop applying for:
“Virtual assistant needed – $3/hr”
Start applying for:
Lead generation jobs
Data specialist roles
CRM management jobs
These pay more because they help businesses grow.
Be accurate and reliable
If your work is:
Clean
Organized
Delivered on time
Clients will keep coming back.
That’s how you grow.
Use tools
Learn tools like:
Google Sheets / Excel
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Apollo / Hunter
Tools make you faster and more valuable.
Very important
Don’t guess your way through this.
Study people already doing it right.
Go and check this profile:
https://t.co/LIUlUZE2rr
Study it carefully:
The services
The tools
The way it’s written
Then model it.
I saw this recently.
If you need to get any book on the internet, type the name of the book followed by “doctype:pdf” and you’ll get the book in pdf format
