Jess's Table Adventure: So last week I follow my colleagues to buy baby gifts for another colleague. I decided to take a bus coz I'm lazy to walk. I missed my stop!!! And had to walk far far. I also ended up buying a table (which I was going to do anyway but not so soon.)

He's still quite nice tho. Helping me carry the table out when we arrived back. I gave him 5 stars and a good recommendation for his service. Overall, an amusing adventure this morning... all before lunch!

A week goes by and the table is ready for collection. The delivery charge is expensive so I figure I will just take a bus there and uber the table home since it's a folding table it should be small enough to fit in a car. I took the bus... planning carefully when to get off.

He even let me charge my useless phone in his car! We chatted abit... the usual stuff. Where are you from, what do you do etc. He keeps hinting if I have a bf (why would you buy a table new if you live alone?) HELLO I impulse buy ok? I know I shouldn't have paid $300... lol!

I ask him if we can try just taking the table out of the box. Coz just a little bit more can close liao. He agrees. We proceed to unpack my table. Once unpacked it can be folded and it fit!!! HENG AH!!! I thank him profusely... above and beyond lei. Good service!!!

I tried to call the driver to ask if the box will fit but no reply. So I wait... praying that my battery will last in time. He arrives and luckily is a nice young chap. We try to fit the table in the backseat... can go in! But cannot close door. KNN!!! Headache sial!!!

He takes a look at the box and says it won't fit and drives off! :"( #sadbunny Walao eh... how sia?! 1% left lei!!! PANIC!!! I faster google taxi companies and also make another uber booking. This time under the assist handicap booking mode. Successful match! 1%!!! Scary!!!!

My phone is running outta battery coz it's q useless from me overcharging it. 2% left. What to do?!? I carry on with my original plan and call an uber to try luck. I got a match and wait anxiously as the indicator drops to 1%. He arrives just in time!

I reach the furniture store but get sidetracked and went into the pet store instead. I bought a cute toy for my date with Kent's cat Jedi later today. Finally I picked up my table... THE BOX IS BIGGER THAN EXPECTED!!! OHNOOOOOO...!!!

I pass by Victoria university when suddenly... there's a cat on a leash!!! A very berry chubby tricolor cutie that I absolutely must pet!!! She belongs to a homeless guy and was super friendly to me. I did not have ciao on me... I HAVE FAILED YOU KITTY I'M SORRY!!!

The bus makes an expected turn! I end up halfway across Wellington at botanic gardens instead. Epic fail!!! So I take the same bus back and walk to the shop.
