@TeamMeatpoi@MeganKelleyHall@elonmusk@hankgreen The statement was he bought twitter as a profitable business, which he did not.
But I’ll bite. Musk bought (majority of) Tesla back in 2003, also unprofitable. Somehow that has made him the richest man in the world. Who knows how this will work out. Time will tell.
@MeganKelleyHall@elonmusk@hankgreen You do realize it was NOT a profitable company for the past 2 years and only 2 of its 12 years being public were actually profitable…
@MikeSington A $44bn company and built on sticks? How much were the (now ex) employees making and they didn’t fix it? These statements just give Elon more reason for his decision to let them go. Sounds like a bunch of FUD.
@biz84@FlutterDev What did these clowns just do? Days ago I went to 4.5 which causes many issues. Now they suddenly jump to 5.0 AND REMOVE GOOD DOCUMENTATION? Wow. Just wow.
@FlutterDev Poor form guys. Removing the old https://t.co/P1Q9lJIFF3 website for previous developers to your https://t.co/KWFO1I8Z7Q page which is lacking documentation, especially for those using pre-5.0 (SO NEWLY RELEASED). Poor form. Poor form.
@joestaiano Looking for a list of CNN advertisers? I've started a list of companies advertising on CNN (60+ and growing!) to help out on this effort through @truvalyouapp. https://t.co/VUv4uQmMws

@JimmB@truvalyouapp Thanks for reporting this. After some testing I’ve found there is a bug on some Android phones with email sign-up. I’m working towards fixing this, hopefully resolved, tested and released in the next few days. Sorry for the poor experience.
Belief-driven buying is on the rise.
The great brands understand this.
The exceptional brands and their owners go the extra mile.
Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard made this clear.
What are your values and do you purchase from companies that share the same values?
@Kaija_Rayne Agreed.
We mustn't become defeatist either. There may be times you NEED something and can't (shouldn't?) avoid a product you don't agree with. That doesn't mean you start buying whatever it is you want, when you want (ergo, "no ethical consumption" yada drivel).
@Kaija_Rayne The "No ethical consumption" argument is just a cop out by others to take no action at all. There are plenty of alternate brands to purchase 99% of the time.
