Thank you @StonewallDems for recommending me for endorsement for Los Angeles city Council district 2.
Together, we can take Los Angeles back for the people ✊🏽
From Saticoy to City Hall, I have been the only candidate that has been out there for the LGBTQ community.
What kind of world is this? One in which you make the mistake of knocking on the wrong door instead of getting a “Sorry wrong house”, you are assaulted by bullets and could lose your life? Ralph Yarl should be in school today, not fighting for his life. https://t.co/GxdutYc0gx
Without writers, there is no film industry. This vote should make it clear to the studios that there is no wedge with which they can break a strike.
Give them a fair contract now or you can find me on the picket line in solidarity.
We don’t let rain stop us from volunteering to help feed our unhoused neighbors with @ValleyChange Latora Green and the volunteers are doing life-saving work for those those experiencing homelessness!
As a candidate running for CD2, I would gladly take a pay cut to expand the Los Angeles City Council to at least 3 council members per district. This would bring the total # of CM’s from 15 to 45. #jillianforthevalley is a people powered campaign to bring power to the people!
Today marks the one year anniversary of the deaths of Valentina Orellana Peralta and Daniel Elena Lopez by the LAPD. There has been no justice. We remember them and ask for police accountability.
Wow! Woke up to over 500 of you keeping track of our campaign! That‘s amazing! Most of you are probably here for @CaliCre8ive but this variety show will get canceled if we don’t get more volunteers to gather signatures.
Do you live in LA City Council District 6? Was Nury Martinez your Councilmember?
Sign up to gather signatures to get an abolitionist on the ballot to replace her. LA deserves @AntoinetteForLA!
We campaigned on providing transparency & accountability to make LA a better city.
Now that the Mayor and City Council passed a State of Emergency on homelessness, we’re ready to do the work of measuring progress & holding City Hall accountable.

Today we had our Team Mejia swear in with the people who have been with us since we officially launched 2 years ago exactly on December 10, 2020! Years of hard work brought us to this moment! Thank you all!
Thank you Councilmembers @EunissesH & @mikebonin for speaking too! 💚
Let's be clear, this isn't how true leaders talk to those who they disagree with. The people wouldn't protest if you gave them the right to be heard. What we witnessed in this clip is the dying battle whimper of a sad defeated man who refuses to accept the inevitable.
What we are witnessing is the gaslighting of an entire city. First, KDL was complicit in racist backroom deals on tape that now has escalated to a violent assault on video. Don’t be fooled, he’s not a victim, but a disgrace to LA every single day he refuses to resign. #ResignKDL
Thank you all who came to Lawless for our Night of Solidarity! I’m running for LA City Council CD2. I’m a proud Afro-Latina/renter/small biz owner/essential worker. Let’s end 41.18 & replace w/life saving services, housing, safe streets, better transit for all! Please join us 🙌🏽
CONGRATULATIONS to my Councilmember @EunissesH for getting officially sworn in by the City Clerk! District 1 representing hard in City Hall! Change is coming, friends!
