The US economy depends on undocumented workers, and because of their ambiguous status as both essential and unauthorized, needed for their labor but targeted for their status, they are particularly vulnerable to unscrupulous employers who cut corners 1/6

laws, DHS’s cooperation in protecting them from retaliation is imperative. If Trump is true to his word, he will turn the immigration enforcement apparatus into a tool that will play a hand in the devastation, harming all workers by making worksites less safe, 5/6
Today was the last day OR voters whose ballots weren't accepted because of errors could "cure" them to have them counted.
Results pulled after that deadline (5p, I think) show Dem Lesly Munoz winning HD22 by 161 votes.
Would mean House supermajority for Dems. #orleg#orpol
Tipping culture has become horrendous. No, I am not tipping the barista because they made my ice coffee the way that it should be made. Tipping culture is for servers and other workers that don’t make their full pay and survive off tips. Is everyone okay?

@CHold That includes overtime, which law enforcement certainly can rack up. Otherwise it’s mostly doctors, maybe a few very experienced prosecutors, in terms of salary.
This is a blatant attempt from far right-wing extremists to distract from the fact that they have no real solutions to what Americans are facing. We should be focused on bringing down the cost of housing, health care, and child care, not manufacturing culture wars.
Delawareans sent me here to make the American dream more affordable and accessible and that’s what I’m focused on.
