What if Amélie was made in 2025 with AI… starring me?
I wandered Paris and stepped into that Amélie vibe.

Anyone can be a star now.✨
Storytelling will never be the same.
An all-cat microdrama: the cleaner who inherits the tower.
Here's how we made it.
The engine is the classic microdrama flip. The most invisible person in the building ends up owning it. Pia Santos scrubs the lowest floor of Vale Tower. The Founder dies. The heirs carve up the estate. Then the will names Pia.
Built entirely in Storyverse Creator, our directing platform. Script first, 11 shots, all filmed clean. Final assembly (shots + subtitles + music) failed 4 times on timeouts, landed on the 5th.
3:05, vertical, Intimate Urban Naturalism. It runs long; the 60-second cut is next.
Scripted IP, directed like film, built with AI.
@rainisto Shipping in it now. The surprise isn't the growth, it's that the format punishes good writing in the traditional sense. Setup is dead weight. Every 90 seconds needs a turn or they swipe. We rebuilt our whole story process around exit points, not acts. Retention is the script.
@HBCoop_@magnific Shipping vertical titles teaches you fast: this is not just short episodes on a phone. It is retention architecture. Every beat must reset orientation, escalate desire, or create a clean handoff to the next swipe.
We made their launch film. Script to screen, all AI-produced.
This is what Storyverse does for Silicon Valley: launch videos and branded microdramas. Hollywood craft, startup speed.
Hollywood x Silicon Valley.
Agent demos fooled you 👎

@JSFILMZ0412@dreamina_ai Hollywood using it quietly while debating it loudly is the whole story. The studios that win won't be the ones bolting AI onto the old pipeline. They'll be the ones rebuilding the workflow around it, where pre-production becomes the whole game.
@wavespeed_ai The fun version of what we're learning the hard way: with AI, directing happens before generation, not after. Continuity, lens, lighting all lock upstream, and no cleanup saves a sloppy brief. The re-direct is really a re-brief.
Our latest DramaBox title crossed 28M+ views in its first days. The thing that moved it was not the visuals. It was the first eight seconds: a question the audience needed answered. AI made the shots cheap. It did not make the hook free. Story is still the constraint.
Infinite K-drama series is the exact thesis we're building on. Our latest microdrama title did 28M+ views in its first days, and the lesson was continuity: audiences forgive rough pixels, they don't forgive a character who changes face in episode 4. How does the API handle character memory across a series?
@PJaccetturo 9.5M in two days is the number that matters. The pattern we keep seeing shipping AI video: the tool compresses the boring middle, but the win is still iteration speed, how fast you can kill a bad version and keep the good one. How many full passes did this one take?
I'll take the other side. We just did 28M+ views on a DramaBox title, all AI-produced. The business isn't YouTube ads. It's the microdrama platforms: they already have the audience, the paywall, and the appetite. Short vertical serial is the format, DramaBox and ReelShort are the economics. The missing piece isn't the platform. It's studios that can ship finished series at AI speed.
@CBSNews SAG is fighting the wrong battle. AI performers don't take human roles, they create performances that were never castable: creatures, crowds, impossible stunts. The pie gets bigger. The unions that figure out how actors get paid in that bigger pie will win.
@armandokirwin Distribution is the whole game now. Generation is close to solved, anyone can make the film. The bottleneck moved downstream: who gets it in front of 28M people. That's why we're building Storyverse as a studio first, not a tool. Tools don't solve distribution. Studios do.
@politico Right instinct, wrong framing. The jobs aren't being automated, the pipeline is being rebuilt. The winners won't be the best prompt writers. They'll be directors, editors and showrunners who run AI like a crew. Train for that.
@ryanlightbourn The cost collapse is real, but cheap isn't the story. The story is speed of iteration. A $2,000 film can take 50 creative swings where the $200M film gets 3. Hollywood isn't cooked because AI is cheap. It's cooked because it can't iterate.
Love this. We just shipped a DramaBox title that did 28M+ views in its first days, all AI-produced. The distribution part is the real unlock. Most AI filmmakers obsess over generation and ignore what platforms actually buy. Happy to share what we learned about what DramaBox looks for.
@dee_naliaks Exactly. On every Storyverse production the director still decides which shots belong. The prompt box didn't replace the director, it replaced the 50-person crew standing between the director and the shot. People arguing "prompt vs director" have never directed.
Unpopular opinion: Hollywood doesn't need better AI video models. It needs a new production pipeline.
You can't generate a film from a prompt box. Real production is script to screen: casting, storyboarding, cinematography, edit, distribution.
The winners won't be model labs. They'll be the first AI-native studios shipping finished IP people actually watch.
That's the bet we're making with Storyverse.
I'm Jesse. Ex Hollywood studio exec, Emmy-nominated filmmaker.
Spent a decade getting "we love it but pass" from every lab and fund.
So I stopped asking for permission and built my own studio.
Storyverse is an AI-native studio. We find IP, develop it, and ship finished scripted video. Studio first, platform next.
So far: $1M+ booked B2B pipeline. A DramaBox title that did 28M+ views in days. A Grok collab after our Odyssey video blew up.
Raising a $5M pre-seed ($1M in). Building the Warner Bros of the AI era.
I'll post everything I learn here.
Mini. Pro. Pro Max.
Introducing something absolutely no one asked for.
Years of research.
Countless prototypes.
Absolutely zero market demand.
And somehow… it’s finally here.
Innovation isn’t always about asking “why.”
Sometimes it’s about asking:
“Why not?”
