Honoring Lieutenant Paul Butrim of Truck 23, Lieutenant Kelsey Sadler, and Firefighter/Paramedic Kenneth Lacayo of Engine 14 today. Their heroism reminds us of the daily risks our firefighters face. Their legacy inspires us to prioritize community safety.
45 men have served as president. Some great leaders, others mediocre. Only one sought by violence to overthrow the Constitution. That one now stands multiply indicted for his crimes. Some flinch from this truth. Others deny it. It's a lot to face. But anything else is a lie.
Friend (also in comms) was just saying - "Well, of course, you're an overthinker. You work in PR - where you HAVE to think through every potential angle & outcome."

@ChristinaTkacik .@BoxHillCrabCake — hands down the best CC in Maryland (and how I impress locals and out of town visitors!) They’re massive, but I always want more. (The Greek dressing is amazing too!)
PR folks:
-Pls keep in mind that when we set up an interview, it is with NO GUARANTEES of coverage
-Pls communicate that to clients
-Pls don't lash out if comments don't make it into the final copy. MANY things get cut in the writing process; it's not personal
They don't want to indict and then have a long gap between indictment and arrest/arraignment.
Also: part of the security is to ensure the GRAND JURORS themselves -- 23 regular New Yorkers, doing their civic duty -- are protected from a defendant who incites violence.
