@EnglandRugby 'We want to take this opportunity to reaffirm our dedication to reviewing this policy as evidence evolves.' - Yet when asked at a recent LBGTQ+ conference on sport what kind of research the RFU would like to see, RFU representatives had no answers.
It's pretty galling that a whole W6N has passed and we still don't know who next RRs coach will be, while the silence around WXV from World Rugby has been deafening. A tidal wave of quietness does nothing to keep driving the women's game forward https://t.co/8Psvq0FcRa
World Rugby has described the 'WXV' as a competition that will "revolutionise the women’s international rugby landscape"
It is just over 5 months to KO and we have had no updates on 'where' it will be held (3 locations for 3 tiers) or 'when' exactly it is on.
Frustrating.
England are missing Botterman, both Clealls, Hunt, Kildunne, Matthews, Muir, Reed, Rowland, Harrison, Scarratt & Ward among *several others & can still name a team this strong...
@Patricknmaxwell @Premier15s @Glos_PuryWRFC @LightningRugby I went directly to https://t.co/yCP4YVY8kY which got us to the right page, now logged in and can see the stream
I just want to thank @rugbyworldcup , and @ITVRugby for the quantity and quality of the broadcasts.
Great panels and commentators, excellent graphics, all the camera angles you could ask for, great interviews
Just - THANK YOU

TICKET SALES 🎟
Currently 75,000 have been sold, with the overall attendance target expected to be 127,000
Not bad going, considering we haven’t even kicked off yet 👀
Imagine being the best women’s rugby team in the world, hot favourites to win the Rugby World Cup yet still flying economy to NZ 👀
Even worse when @British_Airways are the official airline partner 🤨
EVEN worse when players couldn’t sit together throughout the 28 hour trip 🫠
The RFU are leading the way in the women's game.
Shame one of their sponsors hasn't the decency to back one of the union's teams en route to a World Cup.
England men flew by charter with official partner BA to the 2019 WC in Japan, had a send off & fed high-protein snacks.
Tonight England women fly to NZ (not with BA) in economy class & have been told not to post about the journey on social media 🙃 https://t.co/pZA9AfBbKV
