@TheTiredThistle Anyone that has their feelings hurt because you didn’t send a thank you note to them when YOU are going through one of your darkest times, has their own interest in mind, not yours. It’s ok to protect yourself from them & even cut ties.

@TheTiredThistle Most commented that they understood and the thought that I should write the notes was ridiculous. There was one elderly lady that said “It’s ok honey, you can do it when you feel better.”
I never did them and have no regrets.

@KyleJamesHoward Please be praying. A couple of years ago I got stood up on a first date. The NEXT DAY he texted me that he had car trouble. I told him I was no longer interested and he proceeded to then keep messaging me asking why. I eventually blocked him but….

@edstetzer @sendnetwork Growing up, I was part of a white SBC church that partnered with a black church to plant another black church. Now I am part of a SBC church that is truly & intentionally diverse that reflects the community. It’s possible & I can’t go back to the mono-skin toned church as before

@HollyStallcup I lost my mom 6 years ago and have not began a family of my own, despite the desire to. Mother’s Day just sings. It was a relief last year when I didn’t have to explain myself to anyone why I wasn’t at church on Mother’s Day. (Because of quarantine/shutdown)
