it’s kind of crazy that we could have solved climate change 40 years ago and still had similar economic growth except like 11 oil executives wouldn’t have gotten as rich
cannot wait for this to do nothing at all and for him to end up in downing street anyway because we live in the most turbocucked nation on the entire planet
Don't send startling, high-pitched alerts about wildfires to ordinary people's phones. Send them to the CEOs of fossil fuel companies and make them impossible to switch off until they stop the destructive plunder that's contributing to climate change.
Asking shops nicely to stop selling disposable BBQs is not going to cut it.
The Labour Government have sat on a report detailing how the national security crisis is the climate crisis. Apparently too scary.
When is Andy Burnham going to rule out drilling in the north sea?
“Maybe don’t buy a disposable BBQ this month” is not a serious response to the climate crisis currently burning several houses to the ground.
Less Greggs, more policy.
‘How dare they celebrate her death! They’re sick!’ Mike, 63, who ‘haha’ reacts on Facebook every time there’s a story about a child or adult drowning in The Channel after falling out of a small boat.
We are in peak Don’t Look Up era. All experiencing this unprecedented heatwave (‘the coldest summer of the rest of your life’) and yet article after article attacking Net Zero and Ed Miliband

Sending reporters to do heatwave stories to camera at the beach is a such a lazy bit of consent manufacturing. 35C does not equal the beach. Do the report on a building site where people are on the verge of passing out. Do it from a hospital ward.
The fact that climate change & how to fix it is not the number one story every single day is proof of something deep & scarily wrong with our society.
