When our desk pets ran away, we read How to Catch an Elf, so we could develop a plan to catch them. We also thought, they may want a home. Thanks to @el_dailey and @Makedo for lending the tools! The students LOVED using the tools to create.
@mrskingma@squishmallows@canva But I had said that sometimes there are several application to adopt a pet and the most persuasive application would be picked. They loved it!
Desk Pet Adoptions are now closed! Working our way through persuasive writing using the interests of students - who doesnโt LOVE @squishmallows

@mrskingma@squishmallows@canva Hey Jessie! There are 8 for adoption! The students are sitting in 5 different groups, they are adopting on behalf of the group. They decided as a group, which pet they wanted to adopt and then each put in an application. Thankfully each group selected a different pet.
