I truly think some girls forget how to love themselves and be content alone. Read a book you’ve been interested in, go for a hike, do some yoga, bake some cookies. Get back to things that make you happy instead of people. People come and go, but you are your biggest supporter.
@CstTaraso9345@CassieCanuck I am well aware, but thanks for mansplaining. I didn’t ask any of these questions, just simply stated would be interested in knowing what “registration seems off” really meant to you.
@dmturps@CstTaraso9345 A lot of anger for a simple question of what “registration feels off” means lol if the swerving was enough; could’ve left it there.
The number of PPC lawn signs in my neighbourhood concerns me. It isn’t that I think the local candidate has a chance of winning. It’s that so many people feel comfortable announcing out loud their alignment with such hatred.
People always making comments that they see me in the same 3 bathing suits all summer... like we live in 🇨🇦??? Summer lasts like three weeks why the fuck you need more than 4 bathing suits max 🧐
@Mayor_Jeff@cityofbarrie has and continues to discriminate against the indigenous communities that they built the city on. Lowering your flags and a vague tweet that sugar coats the reality of what has happened is not enough
So @fordnation we ready to change the Grade 10 Canadian History Curriculum yet? It’s horrendous to think my parents who grew up down the street from a residential school, had no idea what they were. Thankful I’m in private school and can teach the truth, but how about the rest?
@DaveJaworsky@citywaterloo Why do leaders keep calling this “history”??? It isn’t history - it is still happening. Starlight tours, mass incarceration, highway of tears. We need to do better than a half mast flag.
Our national history continues to be revealed, in a horrendous way, as we are collectively stunned, and mourn the 215 children, buried on the grounds of the Kamloops Residential School.
We are half-masting our flags at the City of Waterloo in their memory.
@DaveJaworsky@citywaterloo This isn’t history... Canada continues to systematically oppress and discriminate against Indigenous communities. The highway of tears, starlight tours, over representation in prisons. This isn’t history - this is Canada now - and we need to properly recognize that to do better
